French cities

France is one of the most desirable places on the planet to tour; in fact it is the most visited country in the world, from the flatlands in the North, to the quaint towns and breathtaking nature in the South.  From the Sandy beaches on the Atlantic coast in the West, to the rolling hills and incredible cities in the East, it truly is a magnificent and thriving place, brimming with many of the world’s most famous sights, histories and culture. 

From the 27 major cities in France, lay a few polished diamonds in and around the rough and uncut sparkle of cities occupying this beautiful country.  Probably the first that spring’s to everyone’s mind is Paris. 

Paris is the capital of France and quite often referred to as ‘the city of light’.  It has a rich cultural heritage with mystical architecture, including some of the most famous tourist attractions on earth like the Eiffel tower and the Louvre.  Paris offers some of the most superior shopping and dining you will ever experience, as it is the capital of fashion and food.

Another popular destination in France is Nice, also famous for its local light and situated on the Mediterranean coast it has become very popular with tourists because of it diverse offerings. From museums and cathedrals, to its bustling town, and arguably the most beautiful seafront on the Mediterranean shores. Many artists emerged from this city, whose works are on display in some of the museums around this sunshine city. 

Cannes in the Riviera region, is a chic and elegant town renowned for its international Film Festival, and festivals alike, so not only does it twinkle with stars during those two weeks, but also has an influx of tourists for the rest of the year, flocking to enjoy the 12km palm tree lined waterfront, events, arts, and incredible cafes, restaurants and boutiques.

France has an abundance of stunning cities and towns that will tempt anyone.  Bordeaux is famous for wine, food, and electrifying nightlife.  Versailles boasts its castle and historic charm.  Grenoble, the capital of the French Alps, with contrasting views and years of preserved past.  Across the map, there is no doubt that France is a country of diverse history and experience.
